When were you with the Green Lab?

2008-2010

What was your function while you were here?

When I joined the team, I assisted with scanning both Multiple Sclerosis patients as well as Neuroimmunology patients using OCT imaging. I would scan patients from both sides of UCSF, clinical and research alike. We used a program that was still in development by a company named Heidelberg and our trials allowed for them to continue developing the software as we continued to utilize its features. I also presented at conferences to discuss the work that we had been doing within the lab. I am very appreciative of the opportunity that I was given and the work that was done while I was under the guidance of Dr. Ari Green.

What are you up to these days? Are you still continuing with research?

After leaving the lab, I decided to take a post-bac year in Pennsylvania. In 2011, I went on to Brown University for medical school and graduated in 2015. Immediately after graduating, I made my way to the University of Washington in Seattle where I did my internship and residency that I completed in 2019. The following year, I began my headache fellowship at the University of Washington. In the most recent, exciting news, I just became a Board certified headache practitioner and will continue to serve as a member of the faculty at University of Washington!
